Tomato campaign kicks off, Mutti hires 1,300 seasonal workers
The Emilian company opened applications for the Parma and Salerno plants. 70% of temporaries are under 35. Open positions for engineers in the Instafactory mobile plant
The tomato processing campaign is about to start and Mutti, Europe's leading company in the tomato derivatives market, is launching a search for 1,300 seasonal workers. The workers will be employed in the company's three plants: 500 in Montechiarugolo and 400 in Collecchio, in the province of Parma, while another 400 will be employed in the south in the Oliveto Citra plant, in the province of Salerno.
The period from July to September is a key period for Mutti because during the summer all the raw material delivered by the more than 800 partner farming families is processed.
Quality control and line operators wanted
Therefore, in order to ensure efficiency and quality at this key stage, the company is opening applications for specialised roles such as quality control and sampling analysts, line operators, mechanical and electrical experts, as well as graduates and undergraduates in scientific disciplines eager to gain experience in a production environment of excellence.
70% of seasonal workers are under 35
Mutti's annual recruitment campaign is already proving very attractive to young workers: more than 70 per cent of seasonal workers are under 35.
Instafactory seeks engineers or engineering undergraduates
A separate discourse should be made for the Instafactory, a mobile production plant patented by Mutti that will be located in the area of Gualtieri (Reggio Emilia) and that allows the tomato to be processed directly in the field, minimising the time between harvesting and processing and guaranteeing maximum freshness.
