Myrtha Pools secures a major US order for 200 swimming pools
A nine-million contract for the residential units in the tower currently under construction in Florida. The floor area is equivalent to three Olympic-sized swimming pools
Sixty-two floors. But, above all, more than 200 swimming pools. This is no minor detail for the Mantua-based company Myrtha Pools, which has been awarded the nine-million-dollar mega-contract to build them inside the Bentley Tower in Miami.
The development is already under construction, with completion scheduled for 2028; each flat will feature a private swimming pool designed and built using the ‘Made in Italy’ technology of the company, which was founded in 1961. Back then, after starting out in the packaging sector, the company launched its swimming pool business by importing pools from the United States under the Florida brand. It is now returning to that country, no longer to import the ‘American dream’ but to export Italian-made products.
Bentley Residences Miami, developed by Dezer Development in collaboration with Bentley Motors, will be the world’s tallest oceanfront residential building once it is completed in 2028. Another unique feature, apart from the swimming pools, is the lift that transports residents’ cars directly to their private garages on the upper floors. These ‘optional extras’ are reflected in the prices, with residences starting at $5.8 million for city-facing units and $8.85 million for those overlooking the ocean.

The contractor for the aquatic section of the project is Recreational Design & Construction (RDC Design Build), which has previously worked alongside Myrtha Pools on iconic projects such as the Porsche Design Tower, SLS Brickell and The Bristol.
