Naples: the Caracciolo Group is to manage the Hotel Miramare on the seafront
A management agreement has been signed between the company represented by Costanzo Jannotti Pecci and Essenza Hospitality (part of the Miri Group), led by Giovanni Paone
Caracciolo Hospitality Group, a hotel management company owned by a group of entrepreneurs of Neapolitan origin, has taken over the management of the Hotel Miramare in Naples. It has signed an agreement, which provides for exclusive management from 2026 onwards, with Essenza Hospitality, the company owned by Mr Giovanni Paone, chairman of the Miri SpA Group.
The Hotel Miramare, a historic hotel on the Naples seafront – an area of high visibility and significant tourist appeal – is set to expand the Caracciolo Group’s portfolio: business, urban leisure, wellness and now luxury seaside accommodation. The group – with a turnover of 23 million and a workforce of 200 employees – already manages the Hotel de Bonart Naples Curio Collection, Palazzo Caracciolo Naples, Hilton-affiliated hotels and the Grand Hotel Telese Terme. The acquisition forms part of the Group’s targeted growth strategy, aimed at consolidating a structured and complementary presence across the Campania region by adding a property on the seafront. The addition of the Miramare to the Group strengthens its positioning in premium destinations, creating a diverse portfolio ranging from the historic city centre to thermal spas and panoramic views overlooking the Gulf.

The refurbishment of the property, involving an investment of around 10 million, began in mid-2025 and will continue this year, with the aim of restoring the building’s historic elegance whilst incorporating contemporary design, comfort and sustainability. The hotel is scheduled to open in March 2027.
