Near, the new Redo Sgr-Euromilano hub for regeneration and living is operational

Announced last July, the new operating hub, born from the integration of Redo Sgr and EuroMilano, announces the start of full operations of the group following the corporate transfers finalised in recent weeks. What Redo Sgr Società benefit and EuroMilano have launched is an integrated platform dedicated to urban regeneration and living, bringing together investment, development and real estate services along the entire value chain.

This concludes the journey that began in June 2025 and saw the entry of new shareholders in Near, whose capital is now held by a parterre of leading institutional investors: Fondazione Cariplo, Intesa Sanpaolo, Fondazione Monte di Lombardia, Cassa Forense, Kryalos Sgr and the LUM Cooperative.

With more than EUR 2 billion under management and 12 active funds, Near operates as a financial engine for urban regeneration projects with a strong social and environmental impact. On the development front, the platform drives large-scale transformations - 6 urban areas (2.5 million sqm in Milan) and 4 public parks (660 thousand sqm) - and today manages a pipeline of over 2,650 flats and 880 beds. Completing the model is asset management: more than 40 years of experience and a portfolio of 2,300 flats and 1,500 beds under management, with integrated services.

This vision takes shape in flagship projects such as UpTown - Cascina Merlata, a laboratory district with a park and integrated services; Aria - Ex Macello, the city's first carbon negative district; L'Innesto, Italy's first carbon neutral social housing district; and MilanoSesto, in collaboration with Coima, one of Europe's largest transformations. To these is added UnaPavia - Ex Neca, which envisages student residences, housing for free sale and new services for the city.
