The Italy Pop-Music Fest, the Italian music festival that brings three iconic names of the contemporary pop scene to Expo 2025 Osaka, will take place from 19 to 21 August at the Matsuri Arena of Expo 2025 Osaka. Negramaro, Elisa and Achille Lauro will be the protagonists of three unmissable concerts on 19, 20 and 21 August respectively, unmissable appointments for lovers of Italian music and culture.
The Italy Pop-Music Fest will open on 19 August with Negramaro, who will bring to the stage their unmistakable electronic sound polluted by rock and romantic veins. The sublime and unmistakable voice of nationally and internationally famous artist Elisa will be the protagonist at the Matsuri Arena on 20 August. The eclectic personality of Achille Lauro, an artist capable of spanning genres and musical eras, will close the three evenings of the Festival on 21 August. The concerts are organised in collaboration with Friends & Partners and are part of the events calendar of the Italian Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka.
Negramaro
Concert on 19 August at 7pm at the Expo 2025 Osaka Matsuri Arena.
In the course of these twenty years, Negramaro have left an indelible mark on music, racking up records and firsts (they were the first Italian band to play at the San Siro Stadium in Milan and the Arena in Verona), with an unmistakable formula inspired by penetrating electronics and 'poised' between pop-rock exuberance and romanticism. Negramaro embody not only a unique artistic story, but above all the story of an extraordinary friendship that began in the early nineties on the benches of the university and grew, thanks also to the intuition of Caterina Caselli who discovered them and wanted them with her in Sugar from the very beginning. Six artists who have branded the last twenty years of Italian music with songs that have become cult hits. From the self-titled album released in 2003 to their latest studio album 'Free Love', theirs is a journey full of Italian and international awards (Mtv Europe Music Awards, Nastro D'argento and Festivalbar), records and multi-platinum certifications, including 1 Diamond Disc, 9 studio albums, 1 live album, 1 greatest hits, 3 docu-films. And numerous international collaborations such as those with Dolores O'Riordan ('Senza fiato') and OneRepublic ('Better Days').
Elisa
Concert on 20 August at 7pm at the Expo 2025 Osaka Matsuri Arena.
