New Board of Directors for Conad Consorzio Nazionale

On Monday, the Conad membership system met in Bologna, where the shareholders' meeting unanimously approved the 2024 budget of Conad consorzio nazionale. The Conad consorzio nazionale (Ccn) shareholders' meeting appointed the new board of directors, which will remain in office for the next three years.

On the new board are: Mauro Lusetti (independent director), Giovanni Mastrantoni, (chairman of Pac 2000A), Danilo Toppetti (managing director of Pac 2000A), Roberto Toni (chairman of Conad Nord-Ovest), Adamo Ascari (managing director of Conad Nord-Ovest), Maurizio Pelliconi (chairman of CommerciantiIndipendenti associati Conad), Luca Panzavolta (managing director of Commercianti Indipendenti Associati Conad), Luca Signorini (president of Conad Centro-Nord), Ivano Ferrarini, (managing director of Conad Centro-Nord, Emiliano Ciaschetti (president of Conad Adriatico), Antonio Di Ferdinando (managing director of Conad Adriatico).

In its first meeting, the Board of Directors confirmed Mauro Lusetti as chairman and appointed Giovanni Mastrantoni as vice chairman of Conad Consorzio Nazionale. "Today is an important day for the Conad System, which has appointed a Board of Directors composed of representatives of all the member cooperatives of Conad Consorzio Nazionale. I am honoured by the trust that the new Board of Directors has placed in me: we are one of the most important economic entities in the country, the only ones in the large-scale retail sector to have a structure made up of cooperative members and managers who work together to develop new responses to the needs of customers both locally and nationally," emphasises Mauro Lusetti, Chairman of Conad. "A renewed and strengthened unity that allows us to face the challenges that await large-scale retail sector in the coming years, consolidating product, service and process innovation and implementing digitalisation in our business. All this will be done by leveraging our DNA, made up of roots in the communities and a focus on ESG objectives. I would like to thank the outgoing members of the Board of Directors for the important work they have done over the past two years, and all the delegates of the cooperatives for having created a new Board in which each territory can bring its own experience and expertise for the growth and development of the entire System".

In the coming weeks, all Conad cooperatives will hold their assemblies for the approval of the 2024 financial statements, and at the end of June, summary economic and financial data for the entire Conad System can be released, in line with the preliminary figures presented at the end of last year.
