New hybrid powertrain for the Hyundai Santa Fe HEV MY26

Hyundai renews the Santa Fe Full Hybrid offering with the introduction of the 2026 model year. The model gets a more powerful and efficient full hybrid powertrain and new customisation and technology features, while keeping the range structure and pricing unchanged.

The updated full hybrid system provides an even smoother and more enjoyable driving experience, with overall power increased to 239 hp (from the previous 215 hp) and efficiency improvements resulting in lower fuel consumption and emissions. The engine, based on the 1.6 T-GDi combined with an electric motor and a 6-speed automatic transmission, can be combined with front-wheel drive (2WD) or all-wheel drive (4WD) in 5- or 7-seat configurations.

In addition to the increase in power, the MY26 introduces features designed to make the on-board experience even more exclusive. The protagonist is the Calligraphy Pack - at the top of the model's range and which identifies it as the best-selling version in Italy - which enriches the Santa Fe with distinctive elements including specific aesthetic characterisation, dedicated 20" alloy wheels, retractable handle on the C-pillar, premium Bose audio system, Head-Up Display, dual wireless charger, UV-C drawer, Premium Relaxation Seats and dedicated premium interiors with Nappa leather seats. The latter now offer an even more personalised on-board experience thanks to new colour combinations in addition to the existing configuration.

New also on the technology front, which sees the debut on the Santa Fe of the Digital Key 2.0, the digital key that allows the vehicle to be opened, closed and started via compatible smartphones or smartwatches, thanks to NFC technology. The introduction of the MY26 saw no change in structure or pricing: at the base of the offering is the Business version starting at €50,100. At the top of the range is the XClass trim, which starts at 54,850 euro in the 5-seater 2WD configuration and can be further enriched with the Calligraphy Pack, which through exclusive details and equipment further enhances the Santa Fe experience.
