New Jeep Compass, everything you need to know about the third generation of the American SUV built in Italy
How it goes and how much it costs The SUV on sale in mild hybrid, plug-in hybrid and fully electric versions
Jeep Compass arrives in Italian dealerships with an offer that ranges from 1.2 mild hybrid to 100% electric versions. Built on the STLA Medium platform, shared with other Stellantis Group models, it grows in size, content and technology. It would be reductive to say that the third series of Compass is a different twin to the other models of the group based on the same architecture. In fact, Jeep engineers have taken advantage of the STLA Medium, multi-energy for thermal and full-electric engines, implementing modifications to raise ground clearance and create true Jeep attack/exit angles with appropriate suspension.
New Jeep Compass, dimensions

In addition, the vehicle's wading depth of up to 470 mm underlines its ability to tackle the most challenging environments. All-wheel-drive versions claim a 27° angle of attack, a 16° hump angle, a 31° exit angle, greater ground clearance and improved fording capacity.
