Jeep Compass is now in its third generation, becoming bigger, more technological and multi-energy. Developed on the Stellantis STLA Medium platform, used by a long list of models including the Peugeot 3008 and the new Citroen C5 Aircross, the Compass will arrive in dealerships with hybrid, plug-in hybrid and even electric two- or four-wheel drive powertrains. Goodbye, instead, to the diesel Jeep Compass featured on the second generation. The production site remains unchanged, with the Italian factory in Melfi ready to build the third series of the Jeep Compass. Already orderable, it will hit the road in the fourth quarter of 2025.
Jeep Compass dimensions
In addition to completely new styling with strong Jeep world references, the new Compass grows by an impressive 15 centimetres in length from 4.40 metres to 4.55 metres. Designed with functionality and safety in mind, the Compass features solutions such as Jeep's modular anti-scratch shield and reinforced bumpers. In addition, the vehicle's radar has been repositioned to prevent damage in tight spaces or in the event of obstacles. %.
With a ground clearance of up to 200 mm, an approach angle of 20°, a hump angle of 15° and an exit angle of 26°, the Compass, even as a two-wheel-drive version, is equipped to tackle even the most challenging terrain with ease. In addition, the vehicle's wading depth of up to 470 mm underlines its ability to tackle the most challenging environments.
All-wheel drive versions claim a 27° angle of attack, a 16° bump angle, a 31° exit angle, greater ground clearance and improved fording capability. Automatic downhill speed control will be standard on all-wheel-drive versions.
