Jeep has unveiled a preview of the revamped Grand Wagoneer, model year 2026, the brand's full-size flagship SUV that will go on sale this autumn with a new electrified powertrain credited with a range of over a thousand kilometres. New is the design, which, although inspired by the Wagoneer S, also features a light bar combined with an illuminated grille.
Four new Jeeps in the coming months
.The new Grand Wagoneer was unveiled at an event in Detroit at which the brand's top executives announced that four new models, including the redesigned Cherokee, the restyled Grand Cherokee and the Recon, would be coming to market in the coming months. While these three had already been anticipated, for the Grand Wagoneer, model year 2026, it was the first public debut.
The iconic style of the front has evolved
.The new Grand Wagoneer, arriving this autumn, features an all-new front end with a minimalist seven-slot grille and an LED light bar. This is complemented by slimmer headlamps and horizontally developed lights. The changes continue at the bottom, with an angular bumper featuring a larger air intake.
The 4xe version has a range of 1,110 km
.Also not unnoticed is the charging flap on the front wing, which is a hint that this is the Grand Wagoneer in 4xe mode, the extended range variant that was announced more than a year ago. They don't say at Jeep, but it's supposed to be a 3,600 cc V6 with a twin-engine all-wheel drive system and a 92 kWh battery.
A non-electrified alternative is also planned
.The 4xe configuration could deliver 672 hp of power and 833 Nm of torque for a system range of over 1,110 km. Alternatively, the 3,000 cc twin-turbo straight-six with 548 hp and 760 Nm of torque is offered under the bonnet. Jeep is optimistic about the future of its full-size SUVs, so much so that it will soon offer a restyling of the Wagoneer as well.
