Sports competitions are even more enthralling for the athletes on the field and the spectators in the stands and at home thanks to quality lighting and the possibility of creating light shows before, during and after sporting events. At the Aldo and Dino Ballarin Stadium in Chioggia, in the Metropolitan City of Venice, Signify, the world leader in lighting, took care of the lighting restyling in order to adapt it to the broadcasting standards of the Lega Calcio Serie C. Union Clodiense was relegated to Serie D after one year in the professional ranks, but is still hoping for a repechage. The 2,000-seat stadium is the main municipal sports facility in terms of capacity and area. With the football team's promotion to Serie C, it was necessary to upgrade the LED technology, some of which was already present in the stadium, to higher standards. In particular, the lighting had to be able to reach 800 lux vertically on the main room side during matches and provide a dedicated lighting for training in compliance with the Law on Light Pollution. Now everything is ready to play at the desired level. For a team hoping for repechage, another is celebrating its return to the professional ranks after twenty years, with the same problem to solve: the feat of Dolomiti Bellunesi, newly promoted to Serie C, represents a model for the North-East, often divided by territorial fences. Three years ago, after years of contrasts, the managers of Belluno, Feltrese and San Giorgio Sedico, who were floating among the amateurs, decided to join forces and create a single club. Dolomiti Bellunesi was to be a vehicle for the development and promotion of the area, and after two years promotion to Serie C arrived, welcomed by the president of Confindustria Belluno Lorraine Berton, a firm supporter of the project. With the team among the professionals, Belluno will speak on the field with one voice. And if at the beginning it will be forced to migrate to the Fontanafredda (Pordenone) field, the hope is to be able to return as soon as possible to the Zugni Tauro stadium in Feltre (the Belluno field is being restructured), where the municipality and province have just approved a 900,000 euro redevelopment project.
