New Renault Twingo, the final version of the neo-retro small electric debuts
The electric city car has a range of over 260 kilometres and is equipped with equipment designed for an urban environment

We were in Paris for the presentation of the Renault Twingo, an iconic model from the 1990s that renews its investment in segment A, the city car segment. A strategy that, compared to other players in the sector, goes against the grain but is considered an opportunity for Renault management thanks to the low competition and the possibility of keeping the price down to 20,000 euros.
Based on the AmpR Small platform, the same one adopted by the R5 and R4, the Twingo brings back the style of the 1990s model with a modern twist. With rounded shapes, a monolithic profile and a cheerful 'look', the Twingo is 3.79 metres long and is available in four body colours: red, green, yellow and black.
The passenger compartment is spacious and flexible: the two rear seats are independent and slide 17 cm, while the front passenger seat backrest can be folded down, allowing a load length of up to 2 metres. Finally, the load capacity of the boot is 360 litres and reaches 1,000 litres by folding down the backrests of the rear seats.
Inside the cockpit there are two displays: the 7-inch digital instrument cluster and the 10-inch central multimedia display equipped with the OpenR Link system and integrated Google.
