What are the dimensions of the new T-Roc 2026?
Built on the Mqb Evo platform, Volkswagen T-Roc claims a length increased by 12 centimetres to a total of 4.37 metres with a wheelbase increased to 2,631 mm (+28 mm). Completely new LED headlights make their debut at the front, available in the Matrix Iq.Light version which, like the LED Plus headlights that are standard in the most complete equipment, are linked by a thin LED crossbar and an illuminated Vw logo. The tail has also been completely redesigned with its continuous LED crossbar which, in the most comprehensive equipment lines, is also illuminated in the centre and has the logo illuminated in red. Climb aboard and you'll find the ambience already appreciated on the Tiguan and Tayron, starting with the large 12.9-inch central screen from which to operate the Mib4 infotainment system with ChatGpt.
What engine does the T Roc have?
The new Volkswagen T-Roc is available with two mild hybrid (eTSI) versions with 116 and 150 hp exclusively with a seven-speed DSG gearbox. So goodbye to the manual transmission, underlining the higher positioning of the second-generation T-Roc. Specifically, both 1.5-litre four-cylinder units are configured as mild hybrid drivetrains with a 48 V belt-driven alternator-starter. The petrol turbos are constructively coupled to a 48 V lithium-ion battery and a 48 V belt-driven alternator-starter. The 48 V system temporarily makes 14 kW of power and 56 Nm more torque available.
