The new Zucchetti headquarters was inaugurated in Lodi. Together with the adjacent Torre, completed in 2017, it constitutes the Zucchetti Village, the headquarters of the IT company (1.25 billion in revenues, over 9 thousand employees), ready to host the group's more than 1,500 people in the Lombardy city.
The new building,' the company explained in a statement, 'was realised in 29 months thanks to the innovative architecture of Studio Lombardini22 of Milan, the engineering expertise of Carlo Pavesi of Studio Pavesi of Lodi, and the construction skills of Ediltecno Restauri of Opera (Milan).
Before cutting the ribbon at the new headquarters, a ceremony was also held to name the entrance square after Mino Zucchetti, the company's founder.
"I would like to thank Mayor Andrea Furegato, the council, and Prefect Davide Garra for this very important and emotional moment," said Alessandro Zucchetti, Zucchetti's president. This gesture of profound gratitude on the part of the authorities that led to the naming of the square after Mino honours us deeply, but it also signifies a great responsibility for the future. We have created this modern headquarters to bring together all the people who work in Lodi, with the aim of fostering personal acquaintance between colleagues, working more and more collaboratively, and receiving guests in a space that is more representative and in keeping with our needs. In the other cities of Italy, too, a process of reunification and reorganisation of offices into modern, technological complexes is underway. At Zucchetti everything starts with the people, who represent the beating heart of innovation and our success. The Zucchetti Village represents the symbol of our vision that puts people at the centre: a workplace designed to inspire new ideas and promote well-being".
"Each space," explained Cristina Zucchetti, president of the holding company and head of human resources, "is linked to a specific function and is made available to anyone, depending on the different activities to be performed or the moments of leisure and relaxation needed to recharge energy. And technology plays a fundamental role in this, because the very solutions Zucchetti develops for personnel management, asset booking, access control and attendance recording make this agile and functional working model possible. We increasingly promote projects based on people's well-being, and the Village expresses and brings to life precisely this value, in favour of a work life balance model that enhances the commitment and enthusiasm of our people".
