Nissan Italia, a growing January thanks to the Qashqai
The new year opened with positive results for the Italian branch of the Japanese brand, which registered 3,600 units in the first month of 2026, 6% more than in 2025. Most of the sales were of Qashqai with e-Power technology: 2,160 units sold, 49% more.
Nissan Italia recorded a 2.3% market share at the end of January 2026, thanks to 3,600 units registered, 6% more than in the same month of 2025. Leading the Japanese brand's growth was the Qashqai SUV with 2,160 units sold, 60% of which were combined with e-Power technology, equal to a 49% increase that guaranteed the model both second place among the best-selling medium SUVs and seventh among the most popular hybrid cars on the Italia market.
E-Power, a technology that anticipates zero-emission mobility
The top version of the Qashqai is firmly coupled to the e-Power system, which, now in its third generation, has provided a decisive boost to Nissan's sales.
In fact, in the quarter between November 2025 and January 2026, Qashqai e-Power requests increased by 42% compared to the previous generation. This is thanks to a technology that has been redesigned to optimise silent driving, typical of electric cars, but without the need for recharging from columns.
All the innovations of the new generation of the Nissan e-Power system
The new e-power has not only reduced fuel consumption by 12 per cent to an average of 4.5 l/100 km, but also increased the range by 13 per cent to over 1,200 km on a 55-litre fill-up. CO2 emissions dropped to 102 g/km and acoustic comfort improved with noise reduced by 5.6 dB.
In terms of performance, Sport mode has increased power by 15 hp to 205 hp, while maintenance intervals are extended to 20,000 km, thus reducing running costs.
