Nissan Qashqai e-Power is also the best-selling SUV in the rental sector
The Japanese brand's flagship car accounted for 50 per cent of registrations in rentals in the first months of the year. It was also the third best-seller in March and the fourth best-seller in the quarter.
The Nissan Qashqai e-Power was the best-selling C-Suv overall in March and in the first quarter of 2026 in the total short- and long-term rental channels. When looking at the total sales ranking, i.e. the one that includes models in all segments, the Qashqai is the third best-seller in March and the fourth best-seller in the quarter.
In the long-term rental sector, the weight of e-Power versions in the total number of Qashqai vehicles registered exceeds 50 per cent, confirming that the low fuel consumption, which is reduced by 12 per cent for average mileage of 22.2 km/l, plus a 13 per cent longer range of up to 1,200 km on a 55-litre tank of petrol, is appreciated by buyers. The Nissan e-Power is a powertrain that offers all the advantages of electric driving, namely brilliant performance and quietness, all without the need for plug-in charging, thanks to the convenience of traditional petrol power.
The third generation of the e-Power technology, first marketed in Europe in 2025 on the Qashqai, has been completely redesigned to further enhance the strengths of the car that have won the appreciation of many users, especially for its ideal technology in the transition to zero-emission mobility. All this, moreover, without having to change their habits and for those who, until yesterday, only bought diesel cars.
