Fans and enthusiasts will be at the centre of the Turin week dedicated to great world tennis. Appointment at the Inalpi Arena from 10 to 17 November for the Nitto Atp Finals, the tournament that closes the men's circuit season and sees the eight best players in the world and the best eight doubles pairs involved. For Turin, this is an event that is being renewed and to which the entire city is devoting great attention, as confirmed by the Masterplan for the 2024 edition presented at the Intesa Sanpaolo headquarters.
The fans and the quality of the live experience will be the focus of the entire event. On the occasion of the fourth Italian edition of the great end-of-season event, the Fan Village pavilions will be greatly expanded, with a greater integration of commercial activities, sports activities and catering. The capacity of the Fan Village will be increased by 30%, from 4,000 guests in 2023 to more than 5,200 in 2024, the pavilion dedicated to partners and commercial activities will double in size, and the catering areas will have one third more seats, thanks also to a second 100-seat à la carte restaurant.
A 60-square-metre LED screen will allow the spectators to immerse themselves in the spectacle of the Inalpi Arena. In addition, the spaces dedicated to sports and entertainment activities will be redefined to improve the flow of the public, and this 2024 edition will feature all racquet sports thanks to pickleball courts, a beach tennis court and a padel court. The integration between the Arena and the Fan Village will also be physical because one of the biggest design innovations of the Nitto ATP Finals 2024 is the connecting canopy, covered and heated, which will ensure continuity between the entertainment pavilions and the court.
The 2024 edition 'promises' to be special also because Jannik Sinner and the Simone Bolelli-Andrea Vavassori pair, number 1 in the PIF ATP Race to Turin singles and number 3 in the PIF ATP Doubles Team Rankings, are close to mathematically qualifying for the Turin event. Not to mention that Lorenzo Musetti is fully in the running to realise another big dream. Virtually qualified for the Nitto ATP Finals 2024 is Carlos Alcaraz, while Alexander Zverev, Daniil Medvedev, Stefanos Tsitsipas, as well as defending champion Novak Djokovic, in the hunt for a historic 17th qualification, are in the running.
Designating the eight participants in the 55th edition of the Nitto ATP Finals - the fourth oer Turin - will be the PIF ATP Race to Turin, the ranking that is obtained by considering only the best 19 results obtained during the calendar year 2024. The tournament schedule includes 15 sessions of play from Sunday 10 to Friday 15 November with an afternoon session - starting at 11.30 a.m. a doubles match and, not before 2 p.m., a singles match - and an evening session (starting at 6 p.m. a doubles match and, not before 8.30 p.m., a singles match). On Saturday 16 November there are the semi-finals, on Sunday 17 November the doubles final at 3 p.m. and not before 6 p.m. the singles final.
