The 40 days since the election of Alessandra Todde as governor of Sardinia in the broad field seem like a geological era ago. After the naufrage of the Bari primaries, even looking at the map in view of June's election day, the Pd-M5s wide field seems an increasingly distant goal. The alliance holds in Basilicata where the Pd and M5s with Avs, +Europa and socialists will support the same candidate: Piero Marrese, president of the province of Matera who will fight against the azure Vito Bardi who is running for the centre-right.
Separate roads in Piedmont
Separate roads, instead, as far as the regional elections in Piedmont are concerned. After various attempts at dialogue with M5s and in the face of an internal impasse on the name to be presented, the Dem regional assembly indicated Gianna Pentenero who will also be supported by Avs, +Europa and two civic lists. M5s will go its own way. And it is fielding Sarah Disabato, president of the Pentastellist consensus group at Palazzo Lascaris and M5s regional coordinator.
Breaking in Florence
.Along with the European elections, votes will also be cast for the renewal of the municipal administrations of six regional capitals among the approximately 3,700 municipalities called to the polls. And it is not only in Bari that the wide field is moving away. This is also the case in Florence where, without there having been primaries, as far as the centre-left area is concerned, there are already three candidates in the field: Sara Funaro, Councillor for Education, Welfare and Immigration of the Municipality of Florence, supported by the Pd, Italian Left, Action and +Europa. Italia viva instead has its own candidate: Stefania Saccardi and to the left of Funaro runs Dmitrij Palagi, supported by Sinistra Progetto Comune. No names yet from the Pentastellati. While the moves of Tomaso Montanari, the art historian who launched the 11 August association, are also awaited.
Situation on the high seas in Potenza, Campobasso and Cagliari
Everything is still to be decided, however, in Potenza where the outcome of the regional vote is awaited. For the centre-right, on the other hand, the focus is on the reconfirmation of the capital's mayor, Mario Guarente, supported by the League. The situation in Campobasso is also on the high seas. Finally, primaries are not excluded as far as Cagliari is concerned. Massimo Zedda of the Progressisti, is currently the only name on the table, having already put forward his candidature some time ago, saying he was also willing to submit it to primaries. The centre-right, meanwhile, has already officially lined up
Campo largo in Perugia
Wide field, on the other hand, in Perugia where the understanding is saved around a civic name, that of Vittoria Ferdinandi. The candidate - who was awarded the Order of Merit by President Mattarella for a project for the inclusion of young people with mental disorders - is supported by Pd, M5s, Avs, Azione, Prc and civic lists. She will fight against another woman, the candidate of the centre-right and civic lists is in fact Margherita Scoccia, councillor of the municipality.
