Brighton is preparing to welcome a new digital hospitality player by the summer. Indeed, Numa has announced the opening of an 84-unit, 172-bed property, which will take the place of the former MyBrighton Hotel in partnership with Nwh Group. The location, on Jubilee Street in the heart of the North Lanes, is within walking distance of the Theatre Royal Brighton, the Royal Pavilion and the beach.
The opening marks a new step in the group's growth plan in the UK, following the acquisition of Native Places last year. "Brighton, with its vibrant cultural scene and coastal charm, fits perfectly with our digital hospitality model," said Philipp Rohweder, Senior Advisor Real Estate at Numa. "As the destination of choice for domestic and international travellers, Brighton strengthens our presence in the UK and demonstrates our commitment to bringing modern, digital accommodation to the country's most exciting locations."
The facility will be modernised with the group's proprietary technologies for fully digitised management, in line with the asset light model that automates operational processes and reduces costs, generating more efficiency and revenue for the owners.
The group plans further openings in the UK, with targets in London, Manchester, Bristol, Belfast, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
"We are excited to partner with NUMA on this project, which combines iconic asset recovery with cutting-edge technology," commented Steph Thrasyvoulou of Nwh Group. "Numa's entry into a dynamic market such as Brighton is testament to the growing demand for flexible and digitised hospitality," added Henry Jackson, Head of Hotel Brokerage at Knight Frank, who advised NUMA on the deal.
