Nvidia is not stopping its stock market run. The artificial intelligence boom has sent the stock soaring by more than 200% in a year and just now, for the first time, has handed the group the sceptre of the world's most valuable company. With a capitalisation that reached $3,326 billion this afternoon, Nvidia has in fact surpassed for the first time Microsoft ($3,321 billion) and Apple ($3,277 billion). And the most bullish analyst surveyed by Bloomberg (Hans Mosesmann of Rosenblatt Securities) even predicts that the semiconductor giant could reach the 5 trillion capitalisation mark next year.
The analyst has raised the price target from $140 per share to $200. But Mosesmann is not the only one in love with Nvidia: among those surveyed by Bloomberg, there are 64 who advise buying the stock (because they expect it to rise further), seven who advise holding it (because they are moderately positive), and only one who advises selling it. We will see if they are right.
