Ghislaine Maxwell was granted partial immunity by the US Justice Department before agreeing to talks with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche. This was reported to the New York Times by an official familiar with the dossier, pointing out that the protection will not apply should the former girlfriend and accomplice of paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein lie. The immunity granted to Maxwell, called 'proffer immunity', is usually offered to individuals with whom prosecutors intend to cooperate in a criminal case.

WSJ: "Dipartimento Giustizia ha avvertito Trump che era nei file di Epstein"

Trump: never been informed of my name on file

Mark Epstein, my brother knew compromising things about Trump

"Jeffrey said he had damaging information" about Trump. This was claimed by Mark Epstein, brother of the dead financier, in an interview with Corriere della Sera. "If someone else is involved, that's their problem," he added, "What I'm interested in is the circumstances of his murder. Anyone who looks at the information doesn't believe it's suicide - he was murdered." Why is he convinced? "When he died I was not notified," he replies, "I heard from CNN in the morning that he had been found dead and that it was an apparent suicide. At first I had no reason to doubt it. I accepted it, I imagined he had done it because he risked spending a lot of time in prison. But the next day when I had to go back to New York to identify the body and they did the autopsy the city coroner, Kristin Roman who did the autopsy with Michael Baden on my behalf both came out of the autopsy saying that they couldn't call it suicide because it looked too much like murder".
