Oil, Opec+ keeps production stable despite internal tensions and Venezuela

Opec+ has decided to keep oil production stable. This was announced by the group of producing countries at the end of a brief online meeting.

The agreement on maintaining the status quo comes despite political tensions between key members Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates and the US blitz in Venezuela to capture Nicolas Maduro.

Opec+ includes Saudi Arabia, Russia, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Algeria and Oman.
