On the Dolce Vita Orient Express discoveries and active experiences

In 2026, the Dolce Vita Orient Express (https://www.orient-express.com/la-dolce-vita/it/), a luxury train born from the joint venture between LVMH and Accor with the Arsenale group, will add other exceptional itineraries to its eight routes that cross 14 Italian regions and promise to uncover national treasures such as Venice, Portofino, Siena, Matera, Nizza Monferrato and the fascinating Sicilian cities of Catania, Palermo and Taormina. Each one is conceived to enhance slow and quality tourism, taking passengers on a journey that weaves together tradition, culture and breathtaking landscapes. The train's interior is a tribute to 20th century Italian design. Evoking the spirit of La Dolce Vita and the creative fervour of the 1960s, every detail is meticulously crafted. The 'La Dolce Vita' train has 31 cabins, divided into 18 suites, 12 deluxe and an exclusive suite named after the train itself. The journey begins at the station with check-in in the 'Dolce Vita Lounge', an elegant and evocative space designed by architect-artist Hugo Toro. On board, the service continues to the highest standards, with gastronomic and hospitality experiences signed by illustrious names such as chef Heinz Beck. Also new for autumn 2025 are two itineraries dedicated to golf lovers: the Northern Greens, which crosses northern Italy to return to Terme di Saturnia, with the aim of enhancing Italy's landscape and cultural heritage and, in particular, to promote the golf courses in the country internationally, and the Italian Swing with the San Domenico Golf Club, The Club at Castiglion del Bosco and the Argentario Golf Club.
