Online auction of luxury wines and champagnes seized in Milan investigation on Lacerenza

This morning, 9 January, the public auction opened on the bottles of champagne and other fine spirits seized in the investigation by Milan Public Prosecutor Francesca Crupi and the Gdf Economic and Financial Police Unit, which centred on the Gintoneria and the La Malmaison private club and an alleged prostitution and drug ring, which had led to the arrest, in March 2025, of Davide Lacerenza and his ex-partner Stefania Nobile.

By logging onto the websites www.spazioaste.it and www.ivgmonza.it, in fact, one can take part in the telematic auction, until 30 January, to purchase, one reads, 'fine wines and spirits', including 'Petrus, La Tache, Romanèe, Krug, Dom Perignon, Masseto' and others.

The assets in the hands of the judicial custodian of the Milan Public Prosecutor's Office include, for example, six bottles of champagne for EUR 2,550, the base price, and then bottles of red wine starting at just over EUR 100, five bottles of tequila for over EUR 1,000, and many more, with base prices of up to over EUR 400.

Last October, the gip Marta Pollicino had ratified the plea agreements of Lacerenza, to 4 years and 8 months, and Nobile, to 3 years, defended by lawyer Liborio Cataliotti. With the plea bargains also came a confiscation of over EUR 900,000, i.e. the value of the bottles, now being auctioned to recover that amount, and several tens of thousands of euro found in the accounts, as well as furnishings of the seized premises.

Lacerenza, after the plea bargain, was able to apply for an alternative measure to prison, i.e. probationary custody to social services, also for 'detoxification' in a community, while Nobile has already been admitted to community work.
