Energy: Orsini, in agreement with Filosa, says it is a burden on competitiveness

“I read a very courageous statement today from Filosa on energy costs” in Italia compared with other European countries: “It is one of the priorities that cannot be compromised, regardless of political affiliation. If we make exceptions, Italia will struggle to remain competitive.” This was stated by Confindustria President Emanuele Orsini as he brought the “Accelerating Growth” conference to a close, referring to the statements made by the CEO of Stellantis during a parliamentary hearing. “Just think what more Italia could achieve without the millstones around its neck” – namely “bureaucracy, energy costs and the lack of a long-term vision for policy measures”, added Orsini.
