Starting from Sassuolo, he recalled, 'thanks to the leadership and competence that have always distinguished him, Orsini has achieved a luminous career. His new appointment, which crowns an extraordinary journey, not only makes Modena proud, but also contributes to carrying the values of our territory throughout Italy. I am certain that, under his leadership, Confindustria will continue to be a beacon of excellence and innovation for our country'. Senator Dem Enza Rando also had words of praise: 'A lifelong Modenese, Orsini is an entrepreneur capable of reconciling quality business work with attention to the development of the territory. I got to know his humanity and his ability to think of business as always connected to its context, to the places where he works'.

The presidents of the Chamber of Deputies Lorenzo Fontana ("The business world is a generator of jobs and is a fundamental interlocutor") and the Senate, Ignazio La Russa ("Businesses are a cornerstone of our economy and require competence, passion, and farsightedness, and Orsini, who is preparing to take on this very important task, will certainly be able to deal with it in the best possible way"). The Fdi group leader in Montecitorio Tommaso Foti: 'We are certain that Orsini will be able to put his professionalism and experience at the disposal of the nation to face the challenges, working with the Meloni government, of relaunching employment and Made in Italy'.

"Orsini will be called upon to carry out a challenging mission in years that are important for the Italian production system and, above all, of positive use of Pnrr resources that will have an impact not only on the public system but also on private enterprise," commented the president of the Azzurri senators, Maurizio Gasparri, thanking Bonomi for the role he has played so far and assuring the newly-appointed president that "he will find in Forza Italia a constructive and positive political force that, in the wake of Silvio Berlusconi's teaching, will defend the reasons of enterprise, a fundamental resource for creating employment and promoting development". Wishing Orsini well in his work, "for the important challenges that await him," and thanking Bonomi at the same time, was also the leader of Fi's group in the Chamber of Deputies, Paolo Barelli: "The role of Confindustria and its president, today more than ever, are fundamental for the growth and economic development of the country system. "I am certain that with his leadership and expertise Orsini will continue to promote economic development and strengthen our country's businesses and international competitiveness," was the message from MP Alessandro Cattaneo, head of Forza Italia's departments. "This is excellent news," emphasised Forza Italia Senator Licia Ronzulli, "not only because of the leading figure who will have to represent the industrialists, on the strength of his great experience and competence, but also because this decision has been reached with a view to a strong, compact Confindustria, representative in all its components.

For the Dems, in addition to the Emilians, the vice-president of Montecitorio Anna Ascani was congratulated. Orsini, she said, 'is preparing to take on a role of great responsibility, especially at a time of rapid and constant change. The productive fabric is one of the main drivers of the country's development, a development that we want to be sustainable and fair, in line with technological advances and attentive to people and their rights. A heartfelt thanks also goes to Bonomi, 'who,' recalled the former premier, 'in the toughest period that Italy has had to face since the post-war period, has been able to interpret his role with great seriousness and responsibility.

The leader of Azione, Carlo Calenda, commenting from Genoa, where he met the world of ports and shipping, on the fact that Liguria had two candidates, pointed out that "Garrone and Gozzi are very worthy, respectable and capable people, it is not that they are lost because they did not win. They will have an important role within Confindustria, and beyond that they are to be congratulated for having fought a good battle. Just as congratulations are due to Orsini, the new president'. Good luck to Orsini from the Ligurian governor, Giovanni Toti, who did not, however, renounce a 'local' interpretation of the event, with a hint of bitterness: 'For once Liguria had two candidates for the presidency of Confindustria whose blazon was unquestionable and who could both compete, evidently there was not enough coolness and maturity to play the game. We will soon invite the new president-designate to get to know the 'Liguria model', perhaps as an 'outsider' he will appreciate it more than someone who has not sufficiently valued it internally'.

The relationship between the business world and the institutions is fundamental for tackling the crucial challenges facing the country," claimed Cnel president Renato Brunetta, congratulating Orsini and thanking Bonomi. Among the trade unions, the general secretary of the Cisl, Luigi Sbarra, was the first to reiterate the willingness to engage in a 'constructive debate on the idea of a great social pact capable of relaunching the growth and productivity of our industrial system, in the name of quality, stability, job security, wage increases, competitiveness and workers' participation in the life of companies by innovating industrial relations and enhancing collective bargaining'. The number one of the CGIL, Maurizio Landini, guest of Marco Damilano on Rai Tre, called for a meeting soon: "There are many things to be done: first of all renewing contracts, then tackling the issue of non-precarious, but qualified and safe work, relaunching the industrial system, things that can be done together, if you want to". For Landini, moreover, 'we must arrive at a law on representation, no more pirate contracts'. And think about increasing wages: 'It is also useful for companies'.
