Ovs celebrates first six months' numbers and a good start to the third quarter

(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Ovs is celebrating the numbers for the first half of the year and a good start to the third quarter. In detail, the group closed the first half of 2025 (February-July) with net sales up more than 4% to EUR 793 million. The adjusted trading margin exceeded 60% on sales, while adjusted Ebitda reached EUR 102 million (+14.3%) with an Ebitda margin at 12.8% on sales. Adjusted net profit was EUR 46 million (+32%).

These are "solid numbers across the board, withimproving margins and net profit up double digits, a sign of the resilience of the business model and Ovs' ability to weather a volatile consumer environment," commented Intermonte analysts, who have an outperform rating with a target price of €4.50, according to which "the good start to the third quarter of 2025 confirms the visibility on the 2025 targets and reinforces confidence in the group's ability to generate cash, keep leverage under control and continue on the path of creating value for shareholders". Equita's experts, for their part, point out that the results in terms ofmargins were slightly better than expected and that current trading sees double-digit growth in August and September at good levels. "These are good indications," they comment, "but not very indicative of the outlook for the second half of the year, given the low seasonality of these weeks and the more difficult comparison from mid-September given the good onset of the Fall/Winter 2024 season. Equita currently sees no room for revision of estimates and confirms its buy rating with a target price of €4.20.
