A Chamber of Commerce closer to businesses, more efficient and totally digital. This is the objective of the 'Chamber of the Future', the technological and organisational transformation project promoted by the Chamber of Commerce of Palermo and Enna in collaboration with InfoCamere, Unioncamere and Dintec.
The initiative is part of the broader modernisation path of the Italian Chamber system and aims to make the institution a reference point for innovation in the territory: by 2026, it is estimated, the Chamber will be fully digitalised. As President Alessandro Albanese explained, 'with this initiative our Chamber of Commerce confirms its role as an innovation agency, at the disposal of the productive fabric to facilitate the path towards digital transition.
Two, in particular, are the technical objectives of the multi-year project: to radically improve the experience of entrepreneurs and professionals in using Chamber services and to increase the efficiency and sustainability of internal processes, reducing bureaucracy times. "It is a path that we have been pursuing for some time now," added Albanese, "with the provision of numerous services and platforms for the benefit of entrepreneurs, in the conviction that modern and efficient institutions are an essential driver to support small and medium-sized enterprises in a transformation that is cultural before being technological.
With this project, the Chamber aims to grow the organisation's culture of innovation and digital skills, thanks also to the collaboration with InfoCamere. "The stretch of road we are inaugurating today," Albanese further explained, "will see the progressive adoption of an increasing number of digital services aimed at improving dialogue with users and collecting the most useful indications from businesses in order to grow together, taking advantage of regulatory developments in terms of digitalisation and innovation in public administration.
The project envisages the full digitalisation of numerous administrative procedures and the possibility of accessing the main Chamber services in self-service mode, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The eight new services that are active or in the process of being released concern access to documents, certificates and visas of the Companies Registry, the annual fee, the drivers' roll, the role of experts and experts, the cancellation of protests, and the service for business agents in mediation. The portal paen.servizionline.camcom.it thus becomes the single access point for practices, payments and certifications, assisted by 'Salvo', the virtual assistant based on artificial intelligence, able to guide the user, provide immediate answers and manage online appointments.
