It is called Panorama Italia, a 30-square-metre tapestry that covers the walls of the celebration room of Casa Italia, the space that welcomes the Azzurri athletes, commissioned by the Italian National Olympic Committee and created, under the direction of Professor Carlo Bagnoli of Ca Foscari University in Venice, by the master weavers of Giovanni Bonotto's Fabbrica Lenta. Casa Italia, housed in the elegant 19th-century villa Le Pré Catelan in the heart of the Bois de Boulogne park in Paris, represents the place where Made in Italy is celebrated in all its expressions, highlighting not only sporting triumphs, but also what has made Italy famous throughout the world.

L’arazzo

For each region, some of the enlightened personalities of our history are depicted (for Sardinia there is Grazia Deledda), a typical Italian dish, a symbolic architecture (the nuraghe), but also and above all a successful entrepreneurial innovation. Indeed, the value of the tapestry lies in its ability to represent an integrated vision of Italy's cultural heritage and innovation. This participatory dimension of the tapestry reflects our commitment to enhance and integrate past achievements with future visions, in a context of celebration and national pride.
