Pellegrini wins tenders worth 600 million in two years
The company won first place in the Consip 'BP11' tender for the monthly meal voucher service
Four regional lots. This is the Consip 'BP11' tender worth 600 million over two years that Pellegrini, a company that offers services to companies, educational institutions, hospitals, rsa's and other institutions, both in Italia and abroad, won thanks to the best technical project, which is a credit to an extensive teamwork that was able to best interpret the requirements of the tender and propose state-of-the-art technical solutions. An achievement that represents an important step forward both in terms of economic value and qualitative recognition.
"A result that confirms the company's ability to combine innovation, quality and attention to people, consolidating its leadership in the market of meal vouchers for public administration and its positioning as a welfare company," explains Valentina Pellegrini, President and CEO of Pellegrini. "In this regard, we are particularly happy that Consip has valorised the many activities that Pellegrini carries out in favour of people and the territory in which it operates, as well as the numerous social initiatives. In particular, we are pleased to mention the 'Pilgrim's friends' meal voucher' conceived on the occasion of the Jubilee 2025 to offer pilgrims visiting Rome authentic hospitality within everyone's reach, and our non-profit organisation Fondazione Ernesto Pellegrini, which for over 10 years has been ensuring the city of Milan its support towards new poverty thanks, in particular, to its solidarity restaurant Ruben".
The technical project was evaluated as the best among all participants and awarded for the innovation of the proposed solutions: from the improvement of the user experience and digital services, to the possibility of using the card also as a prepaid card, to the continuous relationship work with terminal operators. Also appreciated were the corporate welfare and corporate volunteering projects, the concrete presence on the territory and the initiatives dedicated to affiliated businesses and end users, such as the competitions aimed at favouring the dematerialisation of the service and enhancing the network of vouchers.
