Back from the holidays, a new serial season and few surprises. September brings with it the second season of the series-event prequel to the 'Lord of the Rings' saga that began on 29 August. There is little that is new. Or rather there are two spin-offs to keep an eye on: the Penguin (Batman) with Collin Farrel and the witch-magician Agatha with Kathryn Hahn. We expect a lot from both of them. As also from Monster as it reaches its second season. Let's say in conclusion that there are few novelties, but between spin-offs and second seasons September is off to a great start.
Agatha all along - Season 1 - 19 September
Spin off of the Marvel series WandaVision, possibly the best and most original serial production of this ill-fated and senseless new Marvel universe. Kathryn Hahn returns to play Agatha Harkness. We are also very optimistic because the series was created by US screenwriter and executive producer Jac Schaeffer, who also wrote WandaVision. The story? Agatha Harkness finds herself without powers after a mysterious goth teenager helps her free herself from a twisted spell. Let's just say this. (Disney+)
The Penguin - Season 1 - 20 September
Another spin-off this time from the prolific Batman. Protagonist also in this case a villain. In fact after the Joker let's say the baddest. The Penguin stars Colin Farrell who you will see is unrecognisable. (Sky and Now).
Everything Calls for Salvation - Season 2 - 26 September
The book - we repeat - is beautiful. The first series in short, but the second you have to see. The Italian series inspired by Daniele Mencarelli's novel starts with Daniele two years after his TSO and hospitalisation. Nina has given birth to Maria, but the two boys have ended up breaking up and are in the middle of a custody war. Furthermore, Daniele has chosen to become a nurse. Let's hope for the best. For everything. (Netflix).
Monsters - Season 2 - 19 September
One of the most beloved sagas for horror fans is back. Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan's Monsters chronicles serial killers. The first season dealt with Dahmer and was one of the best things seen that year. Now it will feature brothers Lyle and Erik Menendez who were convicted in 1996 of killing their parents. (Netflix).
