Pensions, Inps instructions for postponement with crediting of contributions in the pay envelope
In a circular the details of the 'Giorgetti Bonus' and the other social security measures of the manoeuvre
Employees who by 31 December 2026 accrue 42 years and 10 months of contributions if men and 41 years and 10 months if women can take advantage of the so-called 'Bonus Giorgetti', i.e. the incentive to postpone retirement that provides for the waiver of the worker's contributions to the INPS and the crediting of the amount in the pay envelope. This was written by the INPS in a circular in which it gave instructions on the retirement rules contained in the Budget Law.
The regulatory framework
The Budget Law did not extend Quota 103 for 2026, so the benefit is due to employees enrolled in the General Compulsory Insurance (Ago) or in its substitutive and exclusive forms who: by 31 December 2025 have accrued the minimum requirements for access to the flexible early retirement pension (62 years of age and 41 years of contributions); by 31 December 2026 accrue 41 years and 10 months for women and 42 years and 10 months for men.
Clarifications
The circular gives indications on the extension of the experimental period of the Ape sociale until 31 December 2026, leaving the discipline unchanged also with regard to the regime of incumulability and on the increase of 20 euro of the monthly amount of the social increment provided for pensioners in difficult conditions and of 260 euro of the annual income limit for its recognition.
