Peugeot, ChatGPT on all models including commercial vehicles

Peugeot as a pioneer in the development of artificial intelligence tested ChatGPT in a pilot phase earlier this year with more than 10,000 testers. It now offers the system as standard for all latest generation models as long as they are equipped with voice control. These are the 208 and 2008, the 308 and 308 SW, as well as the 408, 508 and 508 SW, plus the commercial Rifter, Traveler, Partner and Expert. By the end of the year, it will also be the turn of the 3008 and 5008.

ChatGPT-based artificial intelligence is available immediately on all Peugeot models in 17 European markets and also in 12 languages. To date, all major European markets of the French Stellantis brand are affected: Germany, Austria, Spain, France, Italy, Portugal, UK. ChatGPT is available on both new and existing vehicles via an over-the-air update, without any intervention at a dealership.

By the end of July ChatGPT will also be available in Denmark, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland and the Czech Republic. The ChatGPT system is normally integrated into the Connect Plus package or for those who bought a Peugeot car before the new package was introduced as standard, it will still be available through a regular on-demand and ove the air update.

Artificial intelligence is one of the innovations included in the new I-Cockpit. The generative artificial intelligence ChatGPT, developed by OpenAI, is a technology that has learnt a huge amount of data in order to be able to return it accurately and concisely. Interaction with ChatGPT is very smooth through the i-Cockpit's on-board voice assistant. All you have to do is say Ok Peugeot and the specific request in order for ChatGPT to intervene.

ChatGPT is able to answer even complex questions. If, for example, you arrive in a city, you can ask which monuments to visit or tell its history and be guided using the navigation system. And if children get bored on a long journey, you can ask ChatGPT to organise a quiz for them. With ChatGPT, Peugeot revolutionises voice control as every question will be answered in a smooth and intuitive way.
