Piaggio: revenue (+3%) and sales rise in the first half of the year, whilst debt falls
Cash generation for the period reached record levels
(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - The Piaggio Group has released preliminary figures for the first half of the year, showing consolidated revenue of approximately €880 million at constant exchange rates, up by around 3% compared with the €852.5 million recorded in the same period of 2025 (approximately 842 million at current exchange rates). In the second quarter, revenue stood at approximately 515 million euros at constant exchange rates (approximately 500 million at current exchange rates). Cash generated amounted to approximately €112 million in the second quarter and approximately €93 million for the half-year, both of which are record results. Net financial debt improved to approximately €485 million as at 30 June, compared with €577.6 million at the end of 2025 and €534.7 million a year earlier. In the second quarter, the group sold approximately 150,000 vehicles, an increase of 14 per cent compared with the same period in 2025. In the first half of the year, sales reached approximately 258,500 vehicles, up 8.5% from the 238,400 sold in the first half of last year. “The significant growth in sales recorded in the second quarter, against a backdrop still characterised by considerable macroeconomic uncertainty, confirms the effectiveness of the commercial and product development initiatives undertaken by the Group,” commented Chief Executive Michele Colaninno. “The results achieved are particularly significant, especially in light of the strong cash generation – the best ever for a half-year – which has enabled a marked improvement in the net financial position.”
