Pininfarina among the protagonists of Milan Design Week
The historic atelier is planning a wide range of events that will focus on the evolution of design between heritage and future visions. Here are all the scheduled appointments.
Pininfarina, on the occasion of the Milan Design Week scheduled from 20 to 26 April, announces the display at Via Tortona 35 of two cars that symbolise its ability to innovate. They are the Battista Nino Farina and the Honda HP-X. The Battista Nino Farina represents the pinnacle of the brand's vision, combining extreme performance and stylistic refinement in an exclusive edition inspired by the first F1 world champion. Featuring a Nino red livery with gold details and 01 decal, it offers 1,900 hp of power and record-breaking acceleration. Alongside this modern icon will be the Honda HP-X, the concept developed with Honda in 1984 and restored in the Pininfarina workshops in Cambiano, re-proposing the NSX that stood out for its wedge-shaped design, advanced aerodynamic solutions and pioneering use of materials such as carbon fibre and Kevlar.
Brand creative process transforms across cultures
Pininfarina will be the protagonist on 21 April at the Terrazza Martini, as part of the Car Design Dialogues event organised by Car Design News. Pininfarina will be at the centre of an exclusive moment in the meeting that will see the participation of CEO Paolo Dellachà, Head of Exterior Design Dimitri Vicedomini and Chief Creative Designer Tigran Lalyan, as well as offering, also through the testimony of the Pininfarina Shanghai design team, a glimpse of the brand's creative process, showing how ideas develop and are transformed through different cultures and skills. The first high-performance road car inspired by the Honda NSX
The Jas Tensei project is, in fact, a high performance road car by Jas Motorsport inspired by the first generation Honda NSX and reinterpreted according to a new, entirely contemporary vision of the Gran Turismo concept. Designed by Pininfarina, the car will be built with an all-carbon fibre body based on the Honda NSX of the 1990s and will incorporate technical solutions derived from motorsport, a field in which JAS has been successfully operating for over thirty years. The project represents an ideal balance between fidelity to the original DNA and technological and stylistic innovation. The Jas Tensei will be the protagonist of the 15th edition of the Gran Prix de Monaco Historique scheduled from 24 to 26 April, the event dedicated to customers, VIPs and media.
