The Pirelli P Zero E has won the International Compasso d'Oro Award, one of the most authoritative international awards in the field of industrial design. Thanks to its innovative and technological character, the Pirelli P Zero E is the first tyre to win the award, in the Design for Mobility category. The award ceremony was held at the Expo in Osaka, Japan.

This year's Compasso d'Oro was inspired by the Expo theme, Designing Future Society for our Lives, and Pirelli was awarded the prize in the theme Connecting lives, i.e. connecting people with the development of cutting-edge products with reduced environmental impact such as the P Zero E, the world's first tyre designed with an unprecedented percentage of materials of natural origin and recycled materials, in the world of high performance for which it is intended. A synthesis of industrial design and sustainable innovation and technology, it represented a real turning point for the industry.
Performance, efficiency and also comfort
.Launched in 2023, the Pirelli P Zero E was the world's first Ultra-High Performance tyre with more than 55% bio-based and recycled materials, maintaining performance and safety in difficult conditions such as wet asphalt. The P Zero E's performance, efficiency and comfort are confirmed by triple Class A in the European label for wet grip, rolling resistance and noise.
Designed for electric and plug-in
.Designed to ensure the efficiency of electric cars and plug-in hybrids as it is able to increase mileage by up to 10 per cent thanks to Elect technology, it is equipped as standard with Pirelli's most advanced technologies including RunForward, which allows the tyre to continue driving after a puncture. A solution that takes development in a new direction. Also awarded Tyre of the Year at the Automobile Club de France's 2023 Automobile Awards.
