Plan to Support the Internalisation of Young Italian Enterprises
Simest and Giovani Imprenditori di Confindustria together. Networking activities, information meetings and exchange of experiences are planned.
Key points
Simest, a Cdp Group company, and the Giovani Imprenditori di Confindustria (Young Entrepreneurs of Confindustria) have signed a declaration of intent to strengthen cooperation in support of Italian companies, with a special focus on innovative businesses led by young entrepreneurs.
L’intesa
The agreement, formalised on the occasion of the 40th conference in Capri, was created to support companies in a complex global context, characterised by tensions in the value chains, and aims to develop international growth initiatives in strategic markets through subsidised finance, export, and equity instruments managed by Simest. The collaboration also includes networking activities, information meetings, and the exchange of experiences, with a specific focus on supporting companies located in Southern Italy, which will be able to benefit from particularly advantageous conditions.
Support for export vocation
"At least 30% of the country's growth is driven by exports," emphasised Maria Anghileri, president of the Young Entrepreneurs of Confindustria. "With Simest we want to strengthen this strong export vocation of ours, right now that the negative effects of the tariffs currently in force are starting to show. It is increasingly necessary to diversify and invest in the competitiveness and openness of new generations of companies, favouring their entry into new and strategic markets, such as India, for example
International growth boost
"This renewed collaboration with the Young Entrepreneurs of Confindustria represents a further important step in strengthening the dialogue between the players of the Italian System in support of the international growth of our companies,' continued Regina Corradini D'Arienzo, Managing Director of Simest. 'In a fragmented and constantly evolving global context, being at the side of companies, particularly those led by young people and women, means not only innovating the facilitated finance tools to support exports and internationalisation processes, but above all working together to increase the competitiveness of companies, starting with SMEs.
Towards the conquest of new markets, such as India
Addressing critical issues and, at the same time, seizing new opportunities is essential to accompanying the transformation of our production fabric. The agreement with the Young Entrepreneurs,' added Regina Corradini D'Arienzo, 'is fully in line with Simest's activities in support of the production system carried out in collaboration with Cdp, and is part of the broader institutional coordination action promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, which involves Cdp, Sace, Ice and Simest. In this framework, the identification of strategic markets such as India is a necessary step: the markets identified in the Farnesina's Export Action Plan are in fact a priority way to accompany Italian companies towards new paths of sustainable and competitive growth at global level.
