PlanRadar: the new AI agents bridge the gap between the various stages of a construction site and their implementation, operating completely autonomously
Agents are automatically triggered whenever an event occurs in a project on the PlanRadar platform, without the need for approval, but under the supervision of the relevant teams
PlanRadar – the leading platform for comprehensive document management, communication and digital reporting in construction, facility management and property projects – is launching PlanRadar AI Agents, Designed to bridge the gap in follow-up activities, the AI Agents enable teams to save time and increase the volume of these tasks without increasing staff numbers.
Projects in the construction, property and facility management sectors rely on hundreds of small tasks to make progress, and until now, it has always been necessary for someone to step in to complete them one by one. PlanRadar’s AI agents change this situation: once activated, the agent completes the task autonomously, without the need for approval, so that the results are available when they are needed, rather than when someone manages to get round to it.
PlanRadar customers can create their own agents using simple natural-language commands to automate workflows, or choose from a collection of ready-to-use PlanRadar agents. The “Response” agent, for example, reads an incoming enquiry, searches through the project documents and generates a reply that precisely cites the source, thereby reducing the time needed for an initial response from hours to minutes. Every action is logged and attributed to the agent that carried it out, and customers can check in advance exactly what an agent will do before it goes live: this ensures teams retain full control over everything that is carried out automatically.
For customers seeking additional support, PlanRadar’s forward-deployed engineers work directly with teams to identify and develop the use cases most relevant to their business, helping customers get their first agents up and running more quickly.
“Our clients,” said Ibrahim Imam, co-CEO of PlanRadar Group, “want routine project work to be carried out autonomously, without losing control over what is happening, and that is exactly what PlanRadar’s AI agents offer. Our agents identify issues that might otherwise be overlooked and lead to rework, so project teams can focus on the judgements that only humans are capable of making. For PlanRadar’s clients, this change means being able to rely on agents that carry out the work as it arises.”
“Customers don’t want yet another system to log into or another workspace to manage,” added Clemens Hammerl, chief product officer at PlanRadar. “They want to be able to carry out more of their work from a single platform. PlanRadar’s AI agents operate on the basis of existing project data and, every time they are run, are verified against the access rights of the person who created them, so that nothing they do goes beyond what has been programmed. Creating an AI agent is like training a new team member: simple to explain and ready to act whenever needed. Every agent is based on this same principle: true autonomy combined with real control.’
