Plaud One: artificial intelligence listens in on meetings and prepares the follow-up work
Plaud’s earphones cost €249.90, including €176 in Plaud credits to use the agent’s services. The product is due to be launched in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Plaud One is Plaud’s new device: a pair of earphones with a smart case designed to record conversations, transcribe them, summarise them and, above all, turn them into tasks to be carried out.
The idea stems from a very real-world problem. Meetings, phone calls and get-togethers result in decisions, promises and information that often vanish as soon as you leave the table. Plaud aims to transform that fleeting information into a digital record. The company describes a system capable of preserving the context of conversations that took place even days or weeks earlier.
Plaud One can record whilst the earbuds are being worn, but also via the charging case alone. Each earbud features three MEMS microphones and a VPU sensor; the charging case adds four more and can pick up voices from up to five metres away. The claimed battery life is up to 6 hours for in-ear recordings and 25 hours when using the charging case. Features include Bluetooth 5.4, active noise cancellation of up to 35–40 dB and 12-millimetre drivers.
The most interesting part, however, is inside the case: a 4G LTE eSIM. This means that Plaud One can upload recordings and communicate with cloud services even without a smartphone. It’s a sort of notebook that’s learnt how to make calls over the internet.
The software is called Plaud Intelligence. It transcribes in 112 languages, recognises different speakers and generates summaries. Then Plaud Agent comes into play: using the context it has gathered, it can draft a follow-up email, create documents and presentations, update tools such as Gmail, Google Calendar, Notion and Slack, or carry out recurring workflows. The aim is to move from ‘remind me what we said’ to ‘do what we agreed’.
