In Poste comes the agreement on active policies and turnover with a three-year plan that will lead to a total workforce increase (net of counters) of 3,615 full-time equivalents by 2024.
The other night the company signed with Slp Cisl, Slc Cgil, Uilposte, Confsal, Failp-Cisal, Fnc Ugl the agreement that will accompany the process of organisational evolution of Poste Italiane, which will guarantee 'in the three-year period 2024-2026 the realisation of employment actions equal to at least 75% of the efficiency measures defined with the use of voluntary incentive redundancies,' reads the agreement.
As explained by Slp Cisl secretary general Raffaele Roscigno. with the agreement "abwe have achieved the increase to 75% of the turnover for the three-year period with an increase in staff by 2024 (net of countersignifications) of 3,615 workers. We are very pleased with this goal, which was reached jointly with all the other unions. It is an important agreement that means more stabilisations and more staff recruitment'.
Nicola Di Ceglie, national secretary of Slc CGIL, speaks of two novelties: 'The first is the increase in the turnover rate from 40 to 75 per cent over the three-year period. The second is the special attention paid to part-time contracts, the so-called poor work, where, with this agreement, the possibility of conversion to full time is provided for all part-timers in the company, whether voluntary or involuntary. It has never happened before that such a massive redefinition has been achieved for the entire target group,' Di Ceglie explains. 'Suffice it to say that, in 2024 alone, more than 3,400 transitions from part time to full time are planned.
In addition to this, 'on part-time work, we have included the safeguard for those unfit for mobility for anthropometric reasons,' continues Roscigno. 'For serious illnesses and incapacity following an accident, relocation to other areas is envisaged in order to proceed with the conversion. For Voluntary Mobility, we have maintained the three-level system (provincial, regional, national)'.
