Poste Italiane, App P reaches 16 million Italians
App P integrates financial, postal, payment, insurance, telephone and energy services into a single digital platform.
Poste Italiane's digital transition is advancing: around 16 million Italians are already using the Super App "P", the application that absorbed the previous BancoPosta and Postepay apps and offers all the Group's services and products. In just a few months, the Super App became the leader among the free apps in Italy available on Apple store and Google play, making the migration from the old Poste Italiane apps to the new one easy because it guaranteed operational continuity for users with the credentials already in use.
With the App "P" you can book your turn at the post office and speed up operations at the counter. It allows you to manage your BancoPosta current account, Postepay payment cards and savings products. In addition, it is possible to manage insurance policies, control fixed and mobile telephone lines, and carry out operations to sign an electricity and gas contract with Poste Energia.
From the super App," reads a company note, "it is possible to track parcel and mail shipments, make top-ups and order bank transfers, send and receive money, withdraw cash without cards at Postamat Atms and pay bills, pay utility bills, car and motorbike tax stamps. With the 'Maps' function, it is possible to search for the nearest or most convenient post office, Punto Poste and Punto Lis, lockers to pick up or return a parcel, find Postamat Atms and post office boxes, as well as philatelic spaces and shops participating in ScontiPoste, Poste Italiane's cashback programme.
Another new feature is the digital wallet, a single place to store Poste Italiane payment cards, documents, loyalty cards, shipments and reservations. The Super App thus offers the integration on a single platform of a large number of services that were previously distributed on different apps.
