Prada closes 2025 at +9%: fifth consecutive year of growth
Last year, the group recorded revenue of EUR 5.17 billion. Miu Miu continues its run, at +35%. Bertelli: "Versace will contribute to long-term growth ambitions"
Twenty quarters of uninterrupted growth, and yet another year of solid growth for the Prada Group, which closed 2025 with revenues up 9% on 2024, to EUR 5.718 billion. In 2024 the growth had been 17%, to EUR 5.432 billion.
Retail sales were 5.102 billion, +9% year-on-year, +8% organic, driven by like-for-like and full-price; Q4 2025 marked +9% year-on-year, +6% organic, on a challenging comparison basis (+18%). The Prada brand showed strength, with retail sales at -1% year-on-year, improving sequentially in the second half, and returning to positive in the final quarter of the year. Miu Miu (which will present its new AW 26-27 collection in Paris in the next few days) continued its sustained growth, with retail sales at +35% year-on-year and a final quarter 2025 at +20%, compared to +84% in the same period 2024. Adjusted EBIT margin was stable, excluding Versace, despite higher investments and very unfavourable exchange rates, at 23.2%, or EUR 1,324 million. The group's net profit grew by 2% year-on-year to EUR 852 million. The strategic investment plan continued, with EUR 535 million in Capex2.
Patrizio Bertelli, Chairman and CEO of the Group, commented: "We close another year of positive results, characterised by solid growth and profitability, achieved in a still complex macroeconomic and sector context. Creativity, consistency and authenticity continue to strengthen the relevance of our brands. Our industrial platform remains a distinctive strength and a strategic asset supporting the quality, craftsmanship and operational efficiency required by the market. The acquisition of Versace (completed on 2 December, ndr) represented a significant step in the strategic evolution of the Group, enriching our portfolio with an iconic and complementary brand, which will contribute to our long-term growth ambitions".
"The results achieved in 2025 mark the fifth consecutive year of growth for the Group and confirm a solid performance, on a challenging multi-year comparison basis," says CEO Andrea Guerra. Rigorous execution, based on constant attention to processes and operational routines, continued to underpin the success of our brands. During the year, Prada demonstrated solidity, confirming the strength of its positioning; Miu Miu recorded another year of remarkable growth. With the acquisition of Versace, we welcomed into the Group a brand with unique recognisability and heritage, setting out on a new path that will require respect, care and patience. Looking ahead, we confirm our ambition for the Group to generate growth above the market average. As far as profitability is concerned, excluding Versace, the objective remains to achieve margin progression at organic level; the consolidation of Versace will have a dilutive effect on the Group's EBIT margin in FY-26, with the intention of resuming the path of gradual increase starting from FY-27".
