The 2024 version of the pre-compiled tax return becomes simplified. As of the afternoon of today, Tuesday 30 April, it is possible to access the reserved area of the Agenzia delle Entrate website with one's Spid, Cns or Cie credentials in order to consult the data made available by the Fisco, which will form the backbone of the 730 tax return. A measure signed by the director of the Inland Revenue, Ernesto Maria Ruffini, kicked off the pre-filing machine.
On Thursday 9 May, on newsstands with Il Sole 24 Ore, at the price of 1 euro in addition to the daily newspaper, '730 Facile 2024', the practical and up-to-date guide with the latest news on how to correctly fill in the 730 form, with a special focus on new features, including those on home bonus and fringe benefits.
Simplified path
The big news this year is that, for pensioners and employees, the Agency will make the information available through a simplified and guided path. When the possibility of confirmation or change is unlocked, that data will then be automatically included in the tax return. The date set by the IRS for making changes or accepting the model is Monday 20 May.
Direct Reimbursements
.Other new features this year include the possibility of obtaining 730 refunds directly from the Inland Revenue, even for those who have a tax substitute (such as an employer or social security institution). To send the 730 there will be time until 30 September 2024, while there will be until 15 October to send the Redditi model.
The numbers
.In total, the information transmitted for the 2024 season is about 1.3 billion (1,270,674,831 to be exact). Data on the dwelling (income, any rental agreements, mortgage interest) will be collected in the new 'house' section, charges in the 'expenses incurred' section, and information on spouse and children in the 'family' section.
