Giovanna Vitelli, president of Azimut-Benetti, is the national winner of the XXVII edition of the Ey Entrepreneur of the Year Award 'for having been able to steer the company not only towards growth in size and profitability, but also for having inspired technological change, projects focusing on sustainability, employee welfare and corporate social responsibility'.

The award is reserved for Italian entrepreneurs at the helm of companies with a turnover of at least 40 million euro that have managed to renew themselves by contributing significantly to the economic, environmental and social growth of the country. "As a family business, we have the privilege of looking far ahead and creating value over time. Today, this means committing to reducing emissions to make the boating world more sustainable, inspiring other players in the industry as well," commented Vitelli.

There are seven other winners in the various categories: Alessandro Zucchetti (Zucchetti) in Family Business, Matteo Storchi (Comer Industries) in Global Growth, Chiara Pertosa (Sitael) in Innovation, Massimo Scagliarini (Gvs) in Italian Manufacturing Excellence, Davide Bollati (Davines) in Sustainable Business Model, Stefano Cappello, Giovanni Cappello and Enrico Noseda (Limenet) for the Startup Award, Paolo De Nadai (WeRoad) for the Scaleup Award. Ey Special Mention 'a century of excellence' to Bianchi Industrial, Icop, Molino Spadoni, Oms Saleri, Orsolini Amedeo.

"According to the survey carried out together with Swg, entrepreneurs are confirmed as key figures in the promotion of innovation (64%)," recalled Enrico Lenzi, Italy manager of the Ey Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
