Proxity, Fabrizio Trani to head Italy section

The manager will lead the expansion of the new pan-European logistics operator launched by Blackstone

Proxity, the new pan-European logistics and real estate development platform created by Blackstone, has appointed Fabrizio Trani as Head of Italy. The manager will take office in the first quarter of 2026 and will be responsible for operations in the Italian market.

Trani, who will be based in Milan and report to COO Yvo Postleb, will be responsible for building the local team and launching the group's Italian office. "In Fabrizio Trani we have found an experienced leader to drive our business in Italy, which is not only one of our core markets but also a strategic hub for logistics in Europe," said Guido Piñol, CEO of Proxity.

The manager brings with him extensive experience in real estate and logistics: for the past six years he was Head of Asset Management Italy at Patrizia SE, after experiences as fund manager at Torre SGR/Fortress Investment Group and asset manager at Redbrick Investment Group.

Proxity, headquartered in Frankfurt, was launched in April 2025 and will manage approximately 600 properties and development projects, covering more than seven million square metres of leasable space in Europe. The company is wholly owned by Blackstone Funds and aims to rapidly expand its presence in the continent's major metropolitan regions.
