The collaboration between Il Sole 24 Ore and Quattroruote (Editoriale Domus) has resulted in a new programme dedicated to the automotive world. Transmitted on IlSole24OreTV - channel 246 of the terrestrial digital network - every Monday at 9.15 p.m., "Quattroruote al Sole" - this is the title of the new initiative - is an infotainment column, a journey of discovery of today's car that tells - in the field and without filters - about its merits, technological innovations and many curiosities.
At the centre of each episode are the iconic road and track tests - a long-standing hallmark of Quattroruote, which celebrates its 70th anniversary this year - flanked by investigations and reportages, always with a concrete, utility-oriented outlook for motorists. Each episode opens with a journalistic summary and develops into four thematic blocks, each dedicated to different types of cars and contexts of use. A format designed to offer a comprehensive, comparable and unfiltered view of performance and driving experience.
The programme is hosted by Marco Pascali, deputy editor of Quattroruote, together with the journalists and talent who animate the digital production of the Editoriale Domus title, directed by Alessandro Lago.
"Quattroruote al Sole' presents itself as a real service motoring show, capable of providing IlSole24OreTV viewers with all the information they need to orient themselves in their choice of car, amidst certified data, rigorous tests and direct reporting.
Nearly a year after its debut, IlSole24OreTV is evolving: alongside the authoritative and high-quality content produced by the Group's newspapers - from the daily to Radio 24, from HTSI to digital platforms - which is constantly evolving through new formats and columns, it is now enriched by exclusive productions with leading partners in its sector, such as Quattroruote in the automotive sector, to offer a coherent, powerful and contemporary multimedia story.
