Radio 24: Calenda, Carone, De Pascale, Giordano guests on Amici and enemies
Domestic and international politics, the economy, cinema and social media in the Saturday 18 April 2026 episode
Saturday 18 April, from 8.30 to 10am, Radio 24 returns Friends and foes, with Marianna Aprile and Daniele Bellasio.
Guests of the episode will be (in alphabetical order): Carlo Calenda (Senator and Secretary of Action), Martina Carone (YouTrend analyst and manager Youtrend Strategies, lecturer in media analysis at the University of Padua), Sara De Pascale (Editorial Vice-Director ArteSettimaMag), Mario Giordano (journalist, writer, host of the programme Fuori dal coro on Rete4, columnist of the newspaper La Verità).
After the usual opening editorials, from 8.45 a.m. onwards Mario Giordano will be the programme's guest. With him, the presenters will discuss domestic current affairs and the economy starting with his latest book entitled I re di denari (Rizzoli, 2026).
Then, from around 9.05 a.m., it will be time for YouTRE, the polls without numbers in three minutes with which, every week, thanks to the collaboration with YouTrend, we explain the impact of the most recent political events on the electorate. In this episode the poll will be presented by Martina Carone.
Immediately afterwards, Aprile and Bellasio will discuss domestic politics, international politics and economics with Carlo Calenda from his new book Defending Freedom. L'ora dell'Europa (Piemme, 2026).
