Radio 24 celebrates ratings results and its first 25 years

Radio 24 records steady growth in listeners and achieves outstanding results in the first half of 2024

Radio 24 begins to celebrate its first 25 years with an excellent performance in the first half of 2024 listeners surveyed by ERA: it is the only broadcaster with a positive sign on all three average day comparisons, registering growth of 1.6% compared to the first half of 2023, 4.8% compared to the second half of 2023 and 2.8% compared to the whole year 2023, for a total of 2,297,000 listeners on the average day.

The quality of information and the ability to engage listeners is confirmed, thanks also to the digital transformation carried out over the past year with the new Radio 24 - 4.0 platform, which has recorded exceptional results on all the main indicators.
The strong connection with the audience is further confirmed by the record number of downloads of Radio 24 podcasts set in May, the highest ever: 9.3 million listeners, an increase of 24% compared to the same half of the previous year.

The loyalty and strong participation of the public is also demonstrated by the enthusiastic adhesion to the initiative 'La trasmissione che non c'è' ('The broadcast that isn't there') conceived to celebrate 25 years of the 24 ORE Group broadcaster, and by the success at the Festival dell'Economia di Trento, where Radio 24 was the protagonist both with 22 live broadcasts in the squares and with six live shows that sold out.

"A recognition also confirmed by the advertising market, with collection results in the first half of the year showing significant growth, thanks to the increasing number of exclusive campaigns and a fervent proposal of tailor-made formats, capable of satisfying all communication needs in a context of reliability, credibility and narrative capacity. To all this must be added the excellent results of the Radio 24 - 4.0 platform in H1 2024: the average month grew by 226% on page impressions and 93% on unique browsers. Even more brilliant was the performance of the new App, which recorded 3.8 million page impressions (+17%) and 1.4 million visits (+14%) in the first half of 2024, confirming the robust and growing use of the App and the high level of appreciation of the browsing experience by listeners".
