Radio 24: Diamanti, Maggioni, Perina and Ross are guests on *Amici e nemici*
Domestic and international politics, the 2026 World Cup and the revival of the ‘Italian Dream’ in the episode on Saturday 27 June
On Saturday 27 June, from 8.30 to 10, Amici e nemici returns to Radio 24, with Marianna Aprile and Daniele Bellasio.
The guests on the programme will be (in alphabetical order): Giovanni Diamanti, founding partner and director of Quorum and YouTrend, who teaches Political Marketing at the University of Padua; Paolo Maggioni, journalist and writer, presenter of *Domenica Sportiva* on Rai2, covering the World Cup on *UnoMattina Mondiali* and *Tg1 Mondiali*; his latest book is *i* *Una domenica senza fine* (SEM, 2025); Flavia Perina, journalist and writer, currently a columnist for the daily newspaper La Stampa, former editor-in-chief of *Il Secolo d’Italia*, and former MP for Alleanza Nazionale; Alec Ross, entrepreneur, Distinguished Visiting Professor at the Bologna Business School, author of the bestseller Our Future (Feltrinelli, 2022), and former senior innovation adviser to the US Secretary of State during the Obama administration.
Immediately after the opening editorials, from 8.45, Aprile and Bellasio will discuss with Flavia Perina the week’s most significant domestic and international political developments: from the Meloni–Rutte row to the release from prison of the former mayor of Rome, Gianni Alemanno, now an ally of Roberto Vannacci.
From around 9.05, it’ll be time for YouTRE, the three-minute polls without figures in which, every week, thanks to our collaboration with YouTrend, we explain the impact of the latest political events on the electorate. In this episode, the poll will be presented by Giovanni Diamanti.
At around 9.10, Aprile and Bellasio will then discuss business and economic growth in Italia with Alec Ross, drawing on his latest book The Italian Dream: Reclaiming the Future (Feltrinelli Scintille, 2026).
