Radio 24 opens 2026 with growth and multiplatform consolidation

The first quarter of 2026 confirms the growth and consolidation path of Radio 24, which reaches a record 2,685,000 listeners on the average day. Radio 24 continues to strengthen its position on the Italia radio scene thanks to a high level of audience loyalty and a strong appreciation of its authoritative and quality editorial offer. A trend in line with the results achieved in 2025 and consistent with the Il Sole 24 ORE Group's development strategy based on content quality, authoritative information and multi-platform integration.

The start of 2026 highlights a confirmation of Radio 24's distinctive role as the only national News & Talk broadcaster, a point of reference for economic, political and cultural information. A position that is particularly relevant in a phase characterised by strong geopolitical uncertainty and a growing demand for reliable and in-depth information.

The development of the digital and social strategy also continued in the quarter, continuing to expand the radio community and strengthen dialogue with an increasingly transversal and qualified audience. Listening to on-demand content grew, with Radio 24 podcasts confirming themselves as one of the central assets of the offer, thanks to their capacity for in-depth analysis, narrative quality and the variety of topics covered.

Radio's community is also expanding thanks to fervent social media activity, with more than 2.8 million followers in Q1 2026, an increase of +27% year-on-year. The podcast offering - which is constantly evolving - registers an average of 9 million listens per month.

During the first quarter of 2026, Radio 24 also continued to renew its programming schedule and develop new audio and cross-media projects, consistent with the Group's strategy of enhancing the complementarity between radio, digital, podcasts and the other media of the Il Sole 24 Ore System.
